7 Data retention & deletion policy

Sportytrader does not retain data any longer than necessary. However, certain information must be kept for a defined period to meet legal obligations under our Curaçao licence.

  • All data is retained while your account is active — this is necessary for service delivery.
  • Betting and payment history must be retained for 5–7 years after account closure for legal compliance.
  • KYC documents are retained for 5 years after account closure.
  • Session logs and device data are automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Once legal retention periods expire, Sportytrader automatically deletes your data — no separate request needed.

If an account has been inactive for more than 12 months, Sportytrader will send an email notification. If there is no response, the account will be archived after a further 3 months. Legal data retention obligations continue to be met throughout.

8 Children's privacy

Sportytrader is strictly an 18+ platform. Services are not provided to anyone under 18, and their information is never knowingly collected.

  • Age is verified at registration using the date of birth provided.
  • Where there is doubt, age is verified through KYC documentation.
  • If an underage account is identified, it is immediately suspended and any deposited funds are returned.
  • Upon request from a parent or guardian, a minor's data is deleted without delay.
